Self-Booking Terms and Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions to use the Self-Booking Portal. If you have any doubts or questions, it is better to email our Customer Care team at info@hijamahworks.com or telephone us at 1-844-HIJAMAH (1-844-445-2624) to discuss your situation.
I understand that the Hijamah is not a substitute of medical treatments and/or diagnosis and it is recommended that I see a qualified professional for any physical or mental conditions that I may have.
I agree to state all my known conditions and take it upon myself to keep the therapist/practitioner updated on my health.
I understand there is the possibility of discolorations of my skin that can occur for the release and clearing of stagnant fluids and toxins from my body.
I understand this treatment involves contact between patient and practitioner. In the case of wet cupping, a sterile blade will graze the surface of my skin, and removing articles of clothing may be required to access contact points for cups.
If I have any of the following conditions, I agree that I must seek the permission of my primary healthcare provider before attending my Hijamah appointment: diabetes, epilepsy, seizures, cancer, lumps on body, heart conditions, high/low blood pressure, embolism, nerve dysfunction, varicose veins, pregnancy, any contagious diseases, organ transplant, mood or psychological disorders, bleeding disorders.
I confirm that I am currently not taking a blood thinner, I have no history of heart-related diseases, and I do not have cancer.
I confirm I have never been possessed (jinn/exorcism) or afflicted with black magic (sihr). Signs of these are hearing voices, supernatural experiences or violent dreams. I have do not have any clinically diagnosed psychiatric disorder. I understand that HijamahWorks is not a ruqya center and does not provide ruqya services. If I have experienced any of these conditions I agree to seek treatment from my local mosque and to be forthcoming and forthright about my conditions. I understand that persons in menstruation are ineligible for hijama until the menstrual period is over.
I understand that after my assessment and intake, I may be considered an unsuitable candidate for this treatment at the discretion of my practitioner.
